About Us
The Resiliency Project recognizes the value and necessity of providing confidential support and resources for first responders and their family members to assist them when struggling personally or professionally.
Our team is fully commited to providing quality service when you need it the most.
We have built a team of dedicated peer supporters who are willing to listen.
We believe peer solidarity significantly contributes to first responder resiliency.
We are here for our heroes 24/7 to listen and help them live a life they deserve.
Our mission is to provide peer support, advocacy and funding for treatment, recovery and psychological services in an effort to treat post traumatic stress, build resilience and end suicide.
Our vision is to create a culture of wellness and leadership to advance best mental health outcomes and reach as many First Responders as we can.
Vision & Mission
More first responders die by their own hands than in the line of duty. You cannot survive this career and be unaffected. Stigmas create significant barriers to treatment which increases the likelihood of suicide. Let us help you find your starting point of healing. It’s OK to not be OK, we just can’t stay that way. It is our hope that providing an external, free and confidential avenue toward healing will aid in breaking the stigmas First Responders face.
Our Story
The Resiliency Project started in early 2020 after recognizing the need for an external resource First Responders can utilize outside their respective agencies in an effort to prevent suicide.
Since our inception, we have supported over 2,000 first responders throughout the United States. Our team provides a needed service that first responders feel safe using as we are an independent organization unaffiliated with their respective agency. We are expanding as more first responers reach out to us.
Our Impact
Sometimes peer support is sufficient in getting a first responder through a challenging time. If a case goes beyond the scope of peer support and clinical intervention is needed we will help facilitate that.
it takes a village
Your generous donations goes towards first responders we support; whether its financial assistance for treatment, counseling or other efforts, your contribution directly impacts first responders with our primary mission to prevent suicide.
